consistent God

This scripture teaches us two things; it reminds us that we serve a God who is ‘all knowing’ (before He was conceived) and a God who is consistent in how he works. God knows ahead of time what and who He will send and raise up for the sake of the people that He loves. In Jeremiah 1:5 He says the same thing about Jeremiah’s birth, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." So not only does God know all but He is consistent on how He calls us even before we are born to do a great work for him. I am so honored to know that my God not only knew me before I was born but set me aside for a special purpose in my life. This gives me hope today that I indeed have a purpose for being here on this planet for the short time that I have.
