Its All About The Path!
Proverbs 2: The Path Proverb:
*He guards the paths of justice:
*...Every good path:
*...those who leave the paths of uprightness
*...who are devious in their paths
*And her paths to the dead;
*nor do they regain the paths of life
*the paths of righteousness
We've all heard that life is full of twists and turns and it is no doubt full of the unexpected. It does seem however that at least one goal of the Christian life is to avoid the twists and turns of our own doing and keep to the straight and narrow path, the good path, the path of righteousness, the path of justice - to keep in the way of goodness! Solomon says that we need wisdom and discernment and understanding.
Where do we get these divine path guides? From His mouth come knowledge and understanding. Father, it is a supremely simple thing...just start each day at the trailhead of truth and then, having walked that path for some time gleaning the right way for the day...give me grace and wisdom and courage and all that i need to stick to the path no matter what!
It is true that no matter the intention - it's the path i'm on that will determine my destination! Forgive me please and send me on Your Way! Help me please because I am so prone to wander wander wander off the path!
