God's pupose for pharisees
So often, we sell the pharisees short and just consider them the "bad guys" of the story. We consider that at least we're not as bad or dumb as they are. But in this verse, we see that God even has a purpose for them. Unfortunately, they choose to not follow it. What could have been their destiny had some of them embraced God's purpose for them? What potential joy do I miss if I don't embrace GOD'S purpose for me?
