Discipleship: If Godly people wont disciple, somebody will
Hezekiah, one of the most prominent Kings of Judah, succeeded in bringing restoration in the nation. But he failed in one of the most important things that a leader should do, to disciple the next leader, his very own son. He failed to disciple and raise up a Godly leader from his own flesh and blood, which caused a whole nation to not worship and even forget God.
In this sense, we should also take an active step to disciple the future leaders. Because if do not, somebody else will, Cartoon network will, MTC will, Nickelodeon will, or worse the evil system of the world will.
We need to take active step to make them Disciples of Jesus, or we will do again what many have done, that is not to learn on past mistakes, like what we have discovered in Hezekiah's life. True success is raising up a worthy and Godly successor.
