Jesus is a Curse
The Law Creates issues for me. I've heard it said that the law is a fence around the tree in the garden, we place a fence inside that fence which keeps us from getting any closer to the original fence. God says, "don't eat", we push the limits and eat, we are cursed to continually eat the forbidden fruit...
Until Jesus, He comes and redeems me by replacing my curse on the cross. He becomes a curse for me...
Now I can receive the promise God had to begin with.
Lord, help me see, today, when you have already become the curse I will walk into. Help me to realize that you've already paid for my touching the fence I'm not supposed to.
