Sharing and Growing
I was perplexed for a while about this verse. It seemed out of place with the surrounding scripture, and didn't make a lot of sense.
But what I came to understand is that, it fits for two reasons. First, this chapter is all about sharing burdens. And while learning might be a burden, what you learn is a blessing! And sharing blessings is definitely a way to ease the burden of someone else, and makes your load easier.
The second way is this: It is the way to demonstrate the good side of the spiritual law of sowing & reaping. If the teacher sees the word active in the student's life, then they can know the testimony of the word is true.
