Note on Proverbs 27:7
Proverbs 27:7 NCV
(A) "When you are full, not even honey tastes good, (B) but when you are hungry, even something bitter tastes sweet."
NOTE
(A) People who are well don't need doctor or hospital. These are people who have plenty of everything & have no want for anything. Many times these type of people reject the gospel because they think they have provided all they have for themselves. Some of these people even think Jesus & Christianity is for weak people.
(B) This could represent those people who have nothing and will accept anything. This could represent young people who are lacking attention & gangs see this & give them attention and that person joins the gang.
The church has to be proactive in our evangelism & seek out the hungry.
On this journey, we will be rejected by many "full people." We just have to move on & keep looking for the "hungry people."
