Let the past be what it is, change what you can change

3 You’ve already put in your time in that God-ignorant way of life, partying night after night, a drunken and profligate life. Now it’s time to be done with it for good.

Verse starts off by saying "youve already put in your time". Its almost like God is giving us permission to move on or instructing us to do so. Me being someone who regrets alot of his past this verse really hits home. That lifestyle was God-ignorant, so if you no longer consider yourself God-ignorant then in actuality it has no bearing on the rest of your life. Let it be what it is, THE PAST. You hear people say you cant live your life in the past...so does God, its real, blunt, honest, truth...MOVE ON! "Now it’s time to be done with it for good." Emphasis applied here
