What it means to take a name in vain

Got this at the Quantico Men's Retreat in the White Sulfur Springs Retreat Center, and thought it was worth sharing.

Here's the answer to the question:

It is to say your God's child while denying with your life that He is your Farther, and/or... Saying your a Christian (Christ follower) and rejecting His leadership.

That's taking His name in vain.
