Be Strong?

In the first few verses of the chapter, God tells us that the desert will bloom and not be barren anymore. Then this verse tells the anxious to be strong. I'm having an anxious time in my life now. It's hard to be strong. I don't particularly want vengeance taken on those I feel are causing my anxiety. My takeaway on this verse is that God will come and set things right. It's all up to him. Now if I could just convince my heart!
