Jesus' attitude should be reflected in each and every one of our behaviors. Its scary when you realize how hard this is. Think about it every situation throughout your day and you'll realize. Somebody makes you mad, handle it like Jesus. Somebody sins against you and you realize that it could have been avoided if they would have done just one simple thing, THINK. Yeah that could solve everything and avoid the issue, but it freaking happened. Handle this like Jesus would to.
Your purpose should be the same as Jesus. I heard someone once say, "Touch only the people Jesus would touch." That moves me everytime i think about it. The people that Jesus would touch are your purpose. They should be your goal everyday as a Christ follower. I know in my life, one thing I've failed in is one of my very best friends. I've known him all my life and he still doesnt accept Jesus as his Savior. I'm a failure for that.
Your mind should be the same as Jesus. Your mind? Really Paul? Even my thought process and the stuff that people cant see or ever know needs to be the same as Jesus? Yes thats exactly right. The condition of your heart flows out in every outward expression you release, which is what people see. You cant go on forever being fake on the outside. FIx the inside so your daily functions can reflect that of Jesus. Allow your heart to be set on fire for Jesus. "All Consuming Fire" by War of Ages, great reference to this. Let it burn for Jesus, inhabit your heart and your mind with the things of Jesus and your actions will become 2nd nature.
