True Son

What makes on a true son? Ok, I have 2 boys, and they are my sons, no doubt about it. But what would make them my TRUE sons? Reflecting my values? Giving "Spear" a good name? Why does Paul refer to Timothy as a true son? He was not his kid, but a spiritual son.

That has me thinking, do I have any TRUE spiritual sons? Have I brought anyone to Christ/ mentored someone in their relationship with Him to the point that I could write them a letter and tell them they are my true son?
