I spent 4.5 years waiting for God to tell me where to go and this passage helped me through that time. I admired Abraham's faith to be willing to go wherever that God wanted him to go and how he just went. I really had to ask myself if I would be willing to follow Him wherever He told me to go.

It is important for every Christian to take the posture of being willing to do and go where God tells the go and what He tells them to do.
