What's their Galilee?

Jesus' brothers didn't believe in him at this point. Many tripped over Jesus' childhood in Galilee and supposedly not being from Bethlehem. It strikes me odd that Jesus doesn't engage the argument and say "see I'm from Bethlehem, that was where I was born, but I had to leave quickly from there". Instead he talks about where he originally comes from, that being from the Father himself. He doesn't engage in the simple argument, he goes big. It causes me to wonder a few things. What trips people up today in believing in Jesus? What is people's Galilee? How do I engage those conversations like Jesus would? How do I present Jesus to those who don't believe?
