Why wont you believe my words?
I am a talker. I can talk a good talk and make a good explanation for my beliefs, my faith, my priorities and my God. I know not everyone finds it easy to talk, to stand up in front of crowds or to share their faith. But over time God has blessed me with this. But that's not the problem, or the difficult bit. Because it doesn't matter how well or eloquently you speak - its the actions that count in the end.
Jesus knew how to speak but it was his life that spoke even louder. The "evidence of the miraculous works". Not just the miracles of healings and resurrections but the miracles like "Father forgive them for they don't know what they do". His actions of compassion and love and the power of his miracles were his best testimony. People "believe in the evidence" and sometimes the evidence in my life simply doesn't stack up to the words of my mouth. So when I wonder why wont others believe that Jesus is the Son of God I have to ask do I need to get better words or live a better life?
