It's interesting to note that even during the wicked reign of Manasseh, God was speaking to his people. To me this illustrates God's incredible, insatiable desire to have fellowship with us. What makes this verse even more incredible, is that God also spoke to Manasseh, the very one credited with leading the people away from God. I am in awe today of the God's incredible pursuit of his children.
