How simple it seems...mercy must certainly be easier than sacrifice. But how wrong we would be if we thought that way. Isn't it harder to forgive someone who has hurt us than to sacrifice something we want to do. We sacrifice a lot without even realizing it, but how often do we go out of our way to forgive someone who has harmed us? If you really think about it being merciful is really the greatest sacrifice we can make...because we are sacrificing ourselves for someone else. Hmmm...sounds familiar doesn't it?
