Choice

Reading this verse it makes me think of one of Lee Strobels books The Case for A Creator. One of the things he talks about in them is the fact that to many people have access to the same information that Christians do but they willfully choose to interpret without using God as the creator. The complexities of the world are obvious but to the person who chooses to ignore God, the answers have to become that much more difficult. It reminds me of people who love conspiracy theories. Elaborate schemes have to be made up to give us the "real answer" for a particular scenario when the simple one makes much more sense. Lee says in one of his books and I can't remember all of the quote but it says something like. "God has given us just enough evidence for his existence so that we can believe and just enough for us to choose not to believe." Because that is what it boils down to. We are given the choice to love because being forced to love would not be true love.
