Doing one thing and saying another
How easy this passage makes it sound to do away with all of these things. The most interesting I think is the filthy language. In this day in age it is hard to know what is filthy anymore. Parents are cusing at children and children cuss back. No one is shocked by anything anymore. So many of us claim to be Christians but have we really put aside all these things? What about the music you listen to or the things you say when you get mad? We are all guilty of slipping up now and then but are we setting ourselves up for success or disaster. If we hear things all the time we become desensitized to them and before you know it foul language and anger become a part of our daily lives.
