Where I'm from in the Caribbean there's this little chorus that we sing in church that says,"Hallelujah anyhow, never ever ever let your problems get you down. When life troubles come your way, hold your head up high and say, Hallelujah anyhow." I'm a young believer, only 19 years old, but that doesn't mean that I don't have my own little struggles and tests etc, however I do know that praising God during our circumstance is the best remedy there is, so why not just praise God all the time and live worry free?
Well for starters not everyday is a bad, some days are just wonderful in every sense of the word, and lets face it, when we're high up on that mountain enjoying the view and soaking up the niceness that pours in from every direction, just saying 'thank you Jesus for this wonderful day' often slips our mind, much less to praising him.
In our weakness he is strong, remember? When you're knocked down and lying flat on your behind the only way that you can look is up^ There are millions of references and illustrations we can use to stress the fact that we need not worry about everyday life, if you're a Christian then that means you life does not belong to you anymore, you're living for God's glory and will. So through my logic, if we're psychologically depressed and physically and emotionally half dead from worrying...umm...how much are we giving God to work with? lol
Jesus said it all and summed it up nicely in Matthew 6:25-34...read it and tell me whats left to worry about? I'll give you a hint though....nothing! SO WHY WORRY!!!?
