Don't Rush to the Fall

John Eldridge encourages his readers to take time to soak in the Creation, see the mountains, hear the birds, smell the flowers. What beauty God has made for us to enjoy! We always want to rush to the part of the story about the fall, as if that was the beginning. Mankind had a life in the midst of the Garden where he and she enjoyed nature and God. God's desire is to restore that relationship, the one with nature and the one with Himself. The Apostle Paul says, "creation groans as if in childbirth waiting for its redemption when the children of God will be revealed. (Romans 8).
