Ruth wanted to go out and work so she wouldn't be a burden to Naomi.

She ended up in the fields of Boaz, but obviously this was directed by God.

Boaz took an immediate interest in Ruth, and wanted to keep her safe and watch over her.

Just like God our Father has a huge interest in each of us, and He wants to keep us safe and watch over us.
