...i thought we were the ones sent out to be evangalists...?
i can only imagine the reaction of paul and his buddies, when they would show up in one of these towns!! when they started to share the Gospel with someone they had just met, that person was able to tell them the Good News, and include the story of how paul and his buddies had been in thessolanica!! Paul, and his pals must have been askin' themselves "i thought we were the evangalists here. who turned the tables?"! though, i am sure they were excited by the way this worked out!!! ...i'm also very challenged by the way that people had heard of the faith of the thessalonians in all these surrounding towns. i ask myself, "have those in knoxville, or nashville, heard about the faith of the believers in chattanooga? if not, what would it take for us to be that kind of living testimony to God's work?"! i want to live out faith in the Gospel in the Power, and the Holy Spirit, and in much assurance, like these guys(verse 5).
