faithless distractions

Paul certainly had a lot of evil people with no faith that where definitely against him continuing his ministry for sure. He risked so his life and well being so much after his conversion to Christ. I also think however that because of the day and age he lived in and it being a time of strong persecution we often read these scriptures and don’t apply them as easily to our daily lives. We don’t think to ourselves about all these evil people trying to stop us from going to church or sharing with a co-worker (although this still does happen) about salvation.

I think however it’s the people in our lives that may not have faith that influence us that we may need to look out for. Andy Stanley said once, "Who you spend time with has an influence in your life." Could it be that the attacks in our lives are more subtle through the wrong voices, opinions or distractions through faithless people? I think that this can cause so much more damage to the kingdom if I’m allowing these things to distract me. God help me to reanalyze today the distractions and influences in my life today.
