No One Can Condemn Me
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, This morning I felt guilty. Guilty over the sins of yesterday. Guilty of decisions gone wrong. Guilty over the things I said to my wife. Guilty over how I have raised my children. Just guilty. But as I read this passage I now know more than ever before that Jesus through His shed blood has cleansed me from all guilt and shame and that now I am free from guilt and condemnation. Guilt is what I inflict upon myself. This is brutal. Keeps me from going forward. Keeps me in my place. Guilt is personal. Condemnation on the other hand is what others inflict on me. They judge me. They say things about me that are not true. Condemnation labels me. Makes me a marked man. Sometimes I find it hard to shake off the condemnation of others. Jesus has made me free from the law of guilt and condemnation. I no longer am bound by them. I have been set free. Thank You Jesus!
