Instrument for Noble Purposes
In the large house there are many articles, of great value and lesser, for noble purposes and ignoble. So it is in the Kingdom of God. There are people of great or lesser value to the Kingdom. Of them all, the clean articles are the ones useful to the Master.
If we are not serving a noble purpose for the Master, could it be because we are holding fast to things ignoble? If we do want to be of greater value to the Kingdom, used by the Master for noble purpose, then we need to cleanse ourselves of the things ignoble, from which Christ had set us free by His death on the cross.
