NOW
These two scriptures have a key word-now. It is now faith, not faith of yesterday and not what we will do in future, but present faith. Right now, faith is the assurance of things hoped for. Right now there is a certainty of what I am hoping for--the eternal hope of Christ's second coming and being with Him forever. Right now there is an evidence of things not seen. Though we have not seen Him in the flesh we know that He exists and not only does He exist, but He is praying on our behalf and He is for us and not against us. Right now there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. Right now the voices of accusation stop, right now the feeling of guilt is no more, right now fear is cast out, right now everything that condemnation brings is driven away because we are in Christ Jesus by faith.
