Like father
Like father, like son. This Isaac tries to pass his wife off as his sister, just like Abraham did back in Genesis 20:2. He is acting like a wimp, instead of maybe risking his life (it appears, from 26:9-11, that he wouldn’t have even risked his life) he is willing to risk his wife. There are times, when as men, we have to lay it all on the line and trust God, realizing it may not all turn out “right”(i.e. how we want it to) but we have to trust God.
