hope and certainty

This is no doubt a popular scripture that has been taught, preached on and hanging on walls in homes around the world. It describes in one simple statement what faith is. It’s having hope and certainty in a God and circumstances that we cannot always see. Hope is such a strong and necessary word in the life of every human being because when we lose hope we lose meaning we lose direction and purpose.

Every person on the planet needs some type of hope and unfortunately there is so much false hope out there. It’s only the hope in God that will truly give us what we need to satisfy fear and curiosity about our life and future.

I am reminded today in reading through Hebrews that my hope comes from my faith that there is a God who loves me and cares for me and desires for me confident future. My hope and certainty is in Him who loves me eternally. Thank you for reminding me of this truth today.
