Where did the Light come from!?

Before sun/moon/stars .... light. John 1 says Jesus is the Light of the World... was Jesus the light then. Light without a source that was obvious. Day and night in verse 4 of Genesis 1 ....still without a source.

In the new heaven and earth ...at the end/beginning of this life/newlife will there be the same light again ...by itself.
