“Grace”

God’s riches at Christ’s expense

The mercy He shows despite my offense

By it we are saved through faith of course

When we come to Him with a heart of remorse

He tells us come boldly come now to this place

That we may obtain mercy from His throne of grace

Though sin taints us all and does simply confound

How much more does His grace surely abound

When He became flesh and dwelt among us

Full of grace and of truth is what His glory was

The words of our mouth should be loud and clear
To minister grace to all those who hear

His grace is sufficient and He gives to the humble

And extra He gives whenever we stumble

Daily we ask Him in grace let us grow

Open our eyes so Your face we will know

By it we are called not for works we have done

But simply because we are loved every one

God’s grace is a case of unmerited favour

For it is the reason He sent us a Saviour

The Father is love and He knew what it meant

When into the world was His only Son sent

He knew the blood price that Jesus would pay

For He wrote the law that even He must obey

So remember my friends when you see His face

That your ticket home is His free gift of grace
