A Simple Plan
Religion tends to make things very complicated, with sacrifices, offering, and so on. But what God asks of us is really quite simple: justice & mercy in our relationships with our fellow man, and humility in our relationship with Him.
These are simple principles, yet how different would our world be if we all lived this way? How different would the perception and impact of the church be if we lived this way, with justice and mercy the philosophy by which we live our lives, walking humbly with our God moment by moment?
Lord, let me not wait for others to live according to these principles. Help me live them today, making a difference where I am and go.
