Don’t wait for others to encourage you. CHOOSE TO ENOURAGE YOURSELF. 1 sam. 30 1-8 tells of David sudden onset of discouragement when he lost everything. Verse 6 literally says “he FOUND STRENTH in the Lord or he FACTORED GOD into the equation. “ He: (1) approached God in a POSTURE of humility (2) put himself in a POSITION to hear from God, then (3) believed the IMPROBABLE was true that HE WOULD RECOVER ALL.
