I wonder how much better off I would be if I truly persevered through all of my trials that tested my faith? The word perseverance means; “steady persistence in adhering to a course of action, a belief, or a purpose.” I can think back to so many times my faith being tested and me taking a short cut or dealing with the circumstance my own way instead of God’s way. I am reminded today that every time I don’t persevere and in turn let perseverance finish what it’s supposed to do I am cutting myself short of maturing and growing in my walk with God.

God Thank you for reminding me that although perseverance is not always easy it’s for sure the way to maturity in You.
