Cry Out to God

This story is one of my favorite passages in Scripture. It demonstrates that although God is willing and able to provide for our needs, we often need to initiate the process.
If Jesus was fully human, yet fully Divine, He knew about this man and his ailment. Yet, I suspect He would have simply walked on by.
Despite the opposition, the blind man cried out desperately to God. When he was told to settle down, he cried out all the more. He probably seemed ridiculous to others but nobody seems to care when Jesus utters those life-changing words, "what do you want me to do for you".
Jesus is still saying those words today. But sometimes we need to get His attention. We need to cry out. Passivity doesn't get it done.
