wandering
I wander from the truth from time to time and don’t always realize it. A distraction in life, a person or circumstance that takes my attention away from what I know is the truth. It’s never intentional but as James describes it, if we should it can lead to death, sin always does. It kills our relationship with God; it kills our connection to Him and destroys our values and principles that we once kept. This is why even in the book of Hebrews we are encouraged to not stay away from meeting together.
So I am reminded today and grateful for the people in my life that warn me and put me back on the path of truth when they see me wandering away. I also want to play that roll more and more in the lives of the people I know and influence. I want to keep them from certain deaths in their lives that they can avoid and sins that can pile up as a result.
God thank you for Your Word that keeps me corrected and leads me to all truth and for those in my life who do the same. Please use me more and more today to do the same for others.
