Do you understand the Standard set before you?
I was doing a bible study today and GOD was really digging into me concerning my personal ministry in my life. I was really seeking a standard GOD has set out for us as teachers and I thought I would just share this word of encouragement with you. In Ephesians 4:11-13 Paul gives us a standard for where we need be as teachers of the word. He states:
“11 Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers.12 Their responsibility is to equip God's people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.13 This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God's Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.”
Now when I look at that I know that my heart has to be fully in every piece of ministry that GOD has set before me so I reach the ultimate challenge to minister. I just really feel led by GOD that all people are here to be equipped, and we are the ones to equip them. We have to make sure we reach the standard, so we can teach the standard.
