Always be Prepared
For many years now I have lived by the mantra "be prepared" for Jesus. This verse inspired me to readiness, sometimes courage might be fleeting when sharing the love of Jesus with someone, but I was always ready. Then I learned something quite important that I had missed in this preparation for defense....."gentleness and respect". Our goal is to reveal the glory of God so that their heart my be won to Jesus. Not win an argument, and so drive them away. Being prepared to defend God is just as much about talking as it is about revealing his love grace and mercy.
