“Honesty”

Honesty transcends our talk

More than words it’s how we walk

Integrity in all we do

What other people think of you

It’s standing on your own two feet

And what you start you do complete

And while it’s never telling lies

It’s also shunning compromise

It’s telling friends just what you see

It is accountability

And what you owe you always pay

It’s putting in a full workday

It’s making sure you’ve done your part

It’s asking God to search your heart

And when He’s searched you through and through

It’s doing what he tells you to

But most of all it’s being real

And if you’re His it is His seal
