greed for money and lack of life

Money is simply a means. It can be used for good or for bad, it can be used to expand the kingdom of God.

But it can also rob us of life. When money becomes the end, and not simply a means, it becomes a god... A false god.

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. False gods rob us of life, while Jesus gives life.

Greed for money is a never ending cycle. You pursue money, but there is always someone with more, there are always new toys and gadgets to seek after.

I think about Jesus' words in Matthew 6: seek His kingdom and His righteousness, and alam these things will be added unto you.

Seek money, and life will be less. Seek Jesus and you will find abundant life.
