He doesn't love one more than the other but he doesn't want to lose anyone. With Jesus, if you're lost you can be found and once found you never want to go back to lost again. Both sons came from the same home one never strayed away and the other did. He was happy to have his son back but that did not take away from the son that did not stray away. God wants us to know that we can come back if we stray away. He celebrates our return because God is love and the book Corinthians explains what love is. Without do you think he could deal with all we put ourselves through. Nothing is too big for him but it's us who make it seem that way. I'm thankful that he is who he is.
