The Wise Men set out to find the KIng; a long journey and a puppet king would not dissuade them. What of Christmas is leading you to find the King? It is amazing how so much around Christmas is really designed to lead us to the King (though we miss it). The wreathes are a sign of Christ's victory over sin and death; and hanging them on our front door indicates that we have opened the door of our heart to HIm. The white candlelight declares Christ as the light of the world and placing it in our window affirms that we have room for Him in our home! The list goes on.
Suffice it to say, if you want to have a fulfilling Christmas, then you must set out on the right journey - FIND THE KING! Don't let the tinsel and toys dissuade you - FIND THE KING!
