Give to the King
The Heavenly King is worthy of our earthly treasures! Notice, the Wise Men didn't run out to the Bethlehem Mall for some last minute gift purchases. They didn't wait for the sales to kick in. They came prepared with the most precious of gifts: gold, frankincense and myrrh.
When you tell your friends, "I'm going to trust my life into the hands of Jesus" you are displaying your gift of gold. When you refuse sinful temptations, you are displaying your gift of frankincense. Lastly, when you choose to make a moral lifestyle your calling card, you are displaying your gift of myrrh.
Forget the cheap imitations sold at the mall, these are the gifts to be given. The Heavenly King is worthy of your greatest earthly treasures! Find Him! Worship Him! Give your treasures to Him!
