Immediately I Procratinate

Acts 9:20 Immediately he preached the Christ in the synagogues, that He is the Son of God.

I love how verse 20 reads that “Immediately he preached the Christ.” Within a matter of days after encountering Jesus, Saul is preaching Christ. Before this Saul was passionate about persecuting Christians and now he is passionate about preaching Christ. You can see Saul’s passion in his immediate response. Before I was saved I was passionate about a lot of things. When I wanted something I usually was “immediately” doing everything and anything to get what I wanted. Now, I know that I need to have that passion to “immediately” respond to what the Lord is calling me to do, but I confess that I have found comfort in procrastinating.

Lord, help me to be passionate about You by immediately responding in obedience and to get out of my comfort zone.
