obedience

I don't know about others but something I truly struggle with is plain old fashioned obedience. Seems like the motto in my head is "I'll do it but I sure don't have to like it". I GUESS I'll try to drive the speed limit (only because there's a cop in a two mile radius), I GUESS I'll hold my tongue when someone ticks me off, I SUPPOSE I'll try to love my family when really I can't stand them....it is so downright difficult to just be obedient. And not just obedient in our actions but obedient in our hearts. I pray that God will help us find that spirit of love and obedience where our DESIRE is obedience out of love and deep respect for our father and those he has assigned to us.
