9 So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it.

In the bussiness and corporate world it is common to discuss the company's goals for the year as well as individual goals for attaining that.

What is your personal goal in life? What is your ambition in life? Whatever it is...it needs a realit check with this verse. Where does pleasing God come as a goal in your life. Do you wake up every morning with the thought..."How am I going to please God today?" 'What will make Him happy today?"

May this thought keep us busy and thinking, every second of our lifes, in how are we going to do that.

Father God, Give me the strength, the courage and knowledge of how I can live a life pleasing to you.
By myself I will fail. I need you.
