Water to Wine

As I was spending time in this amazing passage I could identify with the empty water pots. I too, at times, am depleted or devoid of God's "wine" in the person of the Spirit. It is in these times that I go to Jesus and ask him for yet another miracle... that he change that which is water in me to wine.

The pots were average, used on an ongoing basis to hold water and yet in a moment in the blink of an eye Jesus changes their essence and nature from common water pots to containers of the finest wine. Jesus does that for me too. In fact, I think I will ask for that miracle right now as I start my day.
