Here is an illustration to help you understand the truth of your salvation.
Let’s assume that you have a huge financial debt and that it is impossible for
you to repay it. If someone paid off the debt on your behalf it would be
wonderful, but it would be more wonderful still if having paid the debt they also
gave you enough money to cover every need for the rest of your life. God’s
salvation is just like that ~ forgiving all our sins and removing them from the
record, He also provides for our future. Grace is God’s provision meeting our
need of forgiveness now and giving strength for our future.
