Action Questions

Not sure if what you’re about to do is a good idea? Ask yourself these questions for starters…
1. Is it true? Does it involve even a white lie? Does it remain true (in line) with God’s word?
2. Is it honorable? Would you like your future (or present) wife and children watch you do this?
3. Is it right? Does it break any rules imposed by an authority, no matter whether you like that person or not?
4. Is it pure? Would you like to invite Jesus along? One drop of impurity makes a whole cup of water dirty.
5. Is it lovely? Will it be something you will want to tell your grandchildren about? And encourage them to do?
6. Is it of good repute? Will it lead unbelievers (or weak believers) astray?
7. Is it excellent? Will it show God’s work in your life?
8. Do you praise others if they did this?
