Extreme Evangelism
Most of us want to do evangelism like a recreational sport. For Paul it was like the X-Games. It was an extreme sport! He was extreme and no one got in his way. He's trying to tell a governor about Jesus - a dude gets in his way and be basically lays down some smack talk (you son of the devil!) and then uses his super powers from God to blind the dude so the governor becomes a believer. Hollywood should make a movie about Paul. The J-Men or something. He was one bad evangelist. It gets better but these verses crack me up.
Why are we so timid with the good news? Why do we let things stop us - fear, uncomfortable situations, limited experience, laziness, lack of caring. Paul considered it a full contact extreme sport. And he won gold medals! I'd at least like to compete that way! How about you?
